A Case of Extramedullary Plasmocytoma

Abstract
|
|
|
This is to present a case of extramedullary plasmocytoma, which was successfully treated by surgery.
The patient was 67 year old female with excessive nasal bleeding and almond sized mass in the left nasal cavity.
The mass was surgically removed and histo-pathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of extramedullary plasmocytoma.
Since the surgical excision of tumor, no evidence of recurrence has been noted for 3 years to date.
Extramedullary plasmocytoma is known to be relatively rare condition.
Review of the literature and general discussion is presented.
